• The DTO (Department of Technical Oversight) is one of the most important departments at the enterprise.  It was founded simultaneously with the enterprise and currently holds the certificate of Test St. Petersburg Federal State Unitary Enterprise, Center of Testing and Certification (Certificate No. SPO1.01.093.066 dd. 02.06.2009, valid through 02.06.2012.

• The DTO focuses on testing the products in accordance with regulative documents and testing methods as required by accrediting bodies, and guaranteeing objectivity, reliability and validity of the results.

• Quality control and sample selection is carried out by highly qualified professionals who use professional equipment and follow standard guidelines.  The testing results are recorded.

• The DTO tests the raw materials, packaging and auxiliary materials, semi-finished and finished products in accordance with approved specifications and standard methods of quality control.

• The raw materials, packaging materials and auxiliary materials used in the production process are tested at the entrance point and are accordingly certified.

• Major process parameters and characteristics are controlled for semi-finished and finished products.  The products are cleared for sale only after the testing is complete for every product category.  The product is tested for organoleptic qualities, physical and chemical indicators, quality of packaging and marking.

• The testing laboratory has modern measurement and physical and chemical analysis equipment, including a gas chromatograph, photoelectric colorimeter, spectrophotometer, refractometer, pH meter, and other equipment.
